Talk to Your GP About Your Risk

A discussion with your GP about your breast cancer risk is important to determine whether you are at a ‘standard’ or ‘increased risk’ of breast cancer.

Understanding your risk level will help guide how often you need screening and whether additional steps are necessary.

Why Screening Is So Important?

Breast cancer symptoms may not be obvious early on, which is why awareness and regular monitoring are key.

Regular screenings help detect changes that may not be visible or felt, giving you the best chance at early diagnosis and effective treatment.

If You Notice Anything Unusual

Do not delay seeing your doctor.

Whether it’s a lump, a change in shape or size, or anything that just doesn’t feel right— early diagnosis and treatment makes a huge difference and could save your life.
